I wrote about police violence in Philly in the mid 90s and your recent article is bringing it all back to me. Most of those pieces are not online but could find them if they would be helpful. I wrote mostly about the killing of Moises DeJesus by Philly police and the subsequent damage control for a regional paper called El Hispano.
I appreciate your articles about police “justice?” in America and read them every day. I just hope you don’t wind up being “punished” for your incredible reporting. Please stay safe and take care.
Sincerely,
Tom Wright, Senior Buddhist priest who marched with Dr. King and others in Selma, Alabama in 1965.
